Shop talk
I have some stuff I've added to my shops recently 'kookyhandbags' and 'talkof thetown'. I've just announced some big sales in both shops, so if you want to save some money check them out! My sales have been pretty sporadic, and I was hoping being the Christmas season and all that they would improve. No such luck though, but I'm still hopeful, since they're is still time to get in a few sales before the big event!
Here is a pretty cuff I made with a crocheted flower attached to a knitted cuff and attaches with a sweet button.
I've also made a patchwork stocking, similar to the one I made last year for Miss Lulu.
And here are some pendant jewlery I've been working on, some with organza ribbon...
This one has a bronzed, antiquey look............
This pendant features a delicate silver ball chain....
And this black dicronic pendant with matching ring...so elegant and chic!
Have you been shopping lately!

First snowfall!!
Around mid week we woke up to this!
What a wonderful change from the dark days we've had recently. It's so bright and clean out now!
Lulu is loving the snow we had, she just loves playing in the snow!
Our newel post looked like a person with a funky snow hat and a fur coat! I should have drawn a face on it.
The park is so beautiful with the shadows and evergreens coated in snow.
Like this one! So Christmasy! I'm certainly feeling the Christmas vibe now! I'm going to write and send out my cards next week.
This tree with it's pretty berries with caps of snow look so unusual!
My neighbour's alligator (0r croc?) is enjoying the first snow too!
I love the way the sun room looks with the snow but the tree with autumn leaves looks odd.
My basil, thyme and parsley is now finished! I guess I should start some indoors. I sure miss cooking with my herbs.
These pots on the deck look like baked Alaska.
We got Lulu a new pull toy and she and Steve are battling it out!
He only does this when the toy is new, and free of dog saliva...ha ha! After a few months this braided toy will look like doll hair! She sure loves to play tug with her Papa!

november daze
These pretty posies are just what I needed to perk up the dark days of November. This month and December are so dark indeed, we need all the help we can get to get through this depressing grey, sunless time. I've been feeling a bit tired and uninspired lately, so when I saw these delightful gerber daisies at the store I knew they were just what I needed.
In case you were wondering about my grey man, Eddie is doing quite well as of late. He doesn't appear to be a dying cat at all now. The meds are really helping. He has turned into Super Kitty thanks to those little white pills I put in his wet food every morning. Maybe I should be taking a few myself. He gets these strange bursts of energy and zooms through the house at top speed and then attacks the doorframe....yes, strange for a dying kitty.
I've been taking advantage of every bit of sun we get, just like Eddie does. Sometimes it is very fleeting though, so I am excited every time we get a few rays. It has been quite cold these past few days, and we've had to bring out the 'january coats'. I've been pulling out my mitts and scarves and hats too. Ugh. I'm not ready for cold weather. We had a few flurries yesterday, and as pretty as they looked, I was afraid to go outside.
I made Lulu a new collar with an old belt that I cut to size and added holes with my leather hole maker, then glued on these pink and plum buttons. I think she likes her new collar.
I think I need to go look at my flowers again and snuggle with my Lulu.
