Feelin' Crafty
I recently made some lavender sachets
This felted craft is so cute!
I started making Christmas cards yesterday, using fabric applique on the cards, it's easy and fun. I made 3 so far. 11 to go, will photograph and add to the blog soon. These cards are really nice. (not mine)
I feel pretty lousy - got a cold and it's rainy last two days - yuck! Does'nt feel Christmasy yet outside. I finished making my nephews' teddy bear - hope he will like it. It is so cute! So, 24 shopping days left now. I want to make cookies soon, my friend Scotty is coming next week to bake sugar cookies here. I'm watching Martha Stewart lately, with all the Christmas projects, feeling very inspired, but low on energy so I'd better pace myself. Oh yeah, I want to make stockings for Archie and Edie. So many things to do, I always want to do so much stuff, but I know I can't do everything I wish to do. Sigh.

Poor you P! I think you should not worry about all the things you have to do before Christmas! Sometimes stress is what can make you sick. Now that you have a cold, you have to relax, drink lots and lots of fluid, take lots of vitamin C, relax in front of the fireplace with your cats in your lap and your S next to you and you'll be feeling better in no time! Thinking of you!
Yes, isn't it funny for such a great time of year, it has to be so stressfull.
Just think of chestnuts roasting on an open fire and jack frost nippping at your nose,........
you get the idea.

I'm going to try to relax but it is'nt so easy. I've been doing stuff all day, so now I am going to do nothing all evening. Thanks C and N1
Everybody is stressed out (or most people anyway) especially at the holidays.
I would love to do a million things in a day, but it just never happens, getting it all accomplished.
I want to get back into yoga and de-stress!

C,I wish I could get motivated to do yoga again. I used to be much more disciplined, in respect to exercising. Now, I at least try to tone my arms and upper body with weights 2 or 3xs per week and take walks. You are lifting Callum all the time and chasing him around the house so that's exercising. Yoga will come later when he is older and you can have the time to devote to it. As far as de-stressing goes, deep-breathing and meditation can help or a nice bubble bath while B is with lil C.

Oh yes, I get plenty of excerise and am into meditation somewhat, it's just the time of year, shopping is what stresses me out (and most of the western world), that's why I don't shop that much anymore.
I love baking cookies and wrapping presents and making cards though, that's the fun part of the holidays.

As I already mentioned Anon, I would be FLATTERED if someone were to SHOW my one of my photos on their blog. I really don't think you understand the word THEFT? Are you really that confused?
And really, you are being petty and SELFISH, especially at this time of year. SHAME ON YOU. I can't even believe I'm having this conversation!!
