Ah, new life!
close-up of pretty little grape hyacinth...
anyone know the name of this yellow tree?
the lilac tree is budding....
and this clump of rubarb is growing fast...
a sea of pretty petite blue flowers is spreading...
looks like a glorious day outside...
i love the play of shadow and light on the blue door of the garage...
the fish pond is full of koi and goldfish waiting for me to feed them....
a brilliant and blooming hyacinth. ( i knelt on the ground to sniff it).
*******************************************
and from inside the house, Archie watches birdie build a new nest...
click on photo to see bird
intently surveying the progress and wishing he could help..
the nest is almost done....
i saw the bird fly to the backyard and come back with wet muddy pond debris..
i snuck up close to get this shot of the nest...
which must dry before birdie can lay her eggs.
Ah, new life!!

I love Spring... everything fresh and new!!
Great pictures! And your sun porch looks wonderful! Sure wish I had one of those. We have some koi fish too :)

Looking good
The yellow bush/tree is forsynthia, not sure the correct spelling, there are tons and tons in the New England area
We are getting lots of color here too, our tree in the backyard is blooming it's pretty pink flowers and the Lilacs and Lily of the Valley are on the way too
Yipee for Spring
Have fun
Forsythia is the correct spelling
they do look so pretty everywhere in the sun they seem to glow
Yum
Fresh Rhubarb
There is noting like a freshly baked rhubarb and strawberry pie
I shold try to grow it too
oops
I should try to grow rhubarb
(my keys on my keyboard miss letters all the time)
Are you going to grow tomatoes and ther veggies?
that should have been "other" veggies
see what I mean
Love the nest photos. The forsythia will get huge quickly - beware! (I have a love/hate thing with mine)
Great story! Our lilacs are blooming now. In fact I just did an art lesson today using lilacs! Is that your pond? I wish mine were that clear, mine is so murky, but the fish must like it because they had babies last summer!
I'm also here to let you know that you've been tagged by myself :)
Please visit my blog to find the rules.
Thanks and have fun!
